Abstract

Bagian administrasi Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Baiturrahmah (FKM Unbrah) Padang langsung berada dibawah naungan Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat yang menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya untuk menjaga keteraturan transaksi akademik pada fakultas tersebut. Proses kegiatan akademik di FKM Unbrah selama ini sedikit mengalami keterhambatan, hal ini dikarenakan lamanya proses pencatatan hasil evaluasi nilai mahasiswa ke buku besar akademik yang menyebabkan terhambatnya proses kegiatan akademik lainnya. Kendala lain yang sering dialami oleh bagian akademik FKM Unbrah adalah terlambatnya pemberian absensi perkuliahan, absensi ujian tengah dan akhir semester, kartu hasil studi mahasiswa, dimana hal ini terjadi erat kaitannya dengan keterhambatan seperti yang disebutkan sebelumnya, dan ditambah dengan belum ada program yang terintegrasi untuk membantu proses transaksi pengolahan evaluasi hasil belajar mahasiswa persemester di bagian akademik FKM Unbrah. Salah satu cara yang dapat diambil untuk memperbaiki kinerja bagian akademik FKM Unbrah serta membantu mengefektifkan dan mengefisiensikan transaksi pengolahan data-data akademik serta evaluasi hasil belajar mahasiswa persemester adalah dengan merancang antar muka (Interface) menggunakan aplikasi visual basic 6.0 yang khusus untuk menangani pengolahan data akademik di FKM Unbrah melalui pendekatan model Rapid Application Development (RAD) dan pemanfaatan Use Case Diagram untuk merepresentasikan interaksi antar aktor-aktor yang terlibat dengan kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh sistem dalam bentuk diagram alir. RAD menggabungkan berbagai macam teknik-teknik terstruktur dengan teknik pemodelan yang bertujuan mempercepat pengembangan sistem, dengan syarat sebelum menerapkan model RAD harus diketahui dengan baik kebutuhan serta batasan ruang lingkup proyek yang akan dikembangkan. Abstract

Saluran transmisi udara umumnya menggunakan konduktor jenis ACSR (Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced) yang memiliki batas temperatur kerja yang diizinkan sebesar 90oC. Permasalahan utama dari penggunaan konduktor ACSR adalah timbulnya andongan dan tegangan tarik. Andongan dan tegangan tarik dapat meningkat akibat arus saluran, tekanan angin dan temperatur lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh arus saluran, temperatur lingkungan, dan tekanan angin terhadap andongan dan tegangan tarik konduktor. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan andongan dan tegangan tarik adalah metode caternary. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa andongan dapat meningkat sebesar 0,00012% akibat pengaruh 1 Ampere arus saluran, 0,415% akibat pengaruh 1oC temperatur lingkungan, dan 0,0002% akibat pengaruh 1 m/s kecepatan angin. Tegangan tarik tidak berubah apabila dipengaruhi kenaikan 1 ampere arus saluran, tetapi dapat meningkat 0,000001% apabila dipengaruhi1 m/s kecepatan angin. Sebaliknya, setiap kenaikan temperatur 1oC, tegangan tarik berkurang 0,0407%. Kata Kunci :

Abstract

Stock is the most popular method today for investing and offers a lot of profit. The profit came from the difference between the prices when you buy it and when you sell it. Even though, the risk for investing using stock is very big. That is why stock investment must be done with correct analysis to maximize the profit and to avoid loss.One of methods for analyzing stock price movement is technical analysis. Technical analysis is a method which is based on stock price movement in the past time. One of popular technical analysis method is Rate of Change. The main concept is to compare current closing price with the closing price x-times periods ago. Using this method, stock broker will know the pace at which price is changing. Tracking the rate of the change of price can confirm trends and forewarn of market reversals. In this final project, I’ve tried to study the process of technical analysis using Rate of Change method, and then I developed software to implement this method. In the early phase, I studied some literature which is related to theories of stock market and technical analysis. After that I did some analyses which involve the analysis of how Rate of Change method works and functional specifications of the software which I would develop. Based on the results of the analysis, I did the design process. The purpose of Rate of Change test is to examine the accuracy of this method on detecting trade signals. And then this final project closed with the conclusion and suggestion for future development. Key Words:

Abstract

Genus of Alseodaphne has been known as a source of apoprhine alkaloid that displayed potent cytotoxic activities against selected cell lines. Two aporphine alkaloids, Corydine 1 and norlirioferine 2 were isolated from leaves of Alseodaphne peduncularis (Wall. Ex. Ness) Meissn. (Lauraceae). Phytochemical study involved extraction, separation and purification by using various chromatography methods and structural elucidation by using spectoscopic techniques such as UV, IR LC-MS and 1D and 2D NMR. These compounds were then assayed for cytotoxicity against human uteric cervical tumor (heLa) and compare for safety with normal mouse fibroblast (NIH/3T3) cell lines by using the MTT assay. Compound 2 displayed potent cytotoxic activities against heLa cell, but compound 1 showed as inactive. Both compounds have no significant effect against NIH/3T3 cell lines indicated good for cancer agent treatment.

Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan totalitas aktivitas pembelajaran yang diawali dengan perencanaan dan diakhiri dengan evaluasi dan follow up. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan diikuti dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi internet dan teknologi mutakhir. Dengan adanya inovasi pendidikan, proses pembelajaran dapat dikembangkan dan ditingkatkan mutu kualitasnya dengan teknologi informasi yang lebih dikenal dengan e-learning. E-learning merupakan model pembelajaran baru dalam pendidikan yang memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pihak sekolah dan guru adalah kemampuan menerapkan e-learning, budaya belajar mandiri yang kurang, guru yang belum mampu menggunakan dan mengembangkan pembelajaran secara e-learning serta sistem jaringan internet yang tidak dapat diakses. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakn dalam penelitian ini adalah pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Implementasi e-learning sering menimbulkan perdebatan dikalangan sekolah SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung. Kendala yang dihadapi yakni peserta didik harus memiliki self-efficiacy (kekuatan untuk belajar secara mandiri), dan guru serta pemerintah kurang berkomitmen menjalankan pembelajaran e-learning. Kendala lainnya dalam pembelajaran e-learning yakni SMA Budaya Bandar Lampung tidak memiliki biaya yang cukup untuk pengadaan instrument, tidak semua peserta didik memiliki kesanggupan untuk membeli media e-learning. Faktor lainnya yakni tidak semua guru dan peserta didik mampu menyediakan pangkalan untuk mengakses internet.

Abstract

Finishing the project are the main task for last semester students in Polytechnic. They do the project in order finishing the syllabus without any improving skills for their future work in industry. The common educational system has improved the quantity of graduate but not the quality. Many industrial department dissatisfied with the workforce less of soft skills although they have enough hardskills in their field. Technical and vocational education has given an opportunity for students to develop their interested in technical and vocational program. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is one the various learning based on student oriented learning. Project-Based Learning is a student-centered learning approach based on the principles of constructivism to enhance students’ learning and creativity by solving a real-world problem. The purpose of this study was to asses the project management system by using Project-Based Learning. This study was held at Mechanical Engineering department at Polytechnic Kota Bharu, Malaysia. We used a set of questionnaire and observation into this research. We found Project-Based Learning are suitable for student project management. PjBL has improve students softskill such as communication skills, work in team, solving problem and creative. Futher application of this study will lead to the development of Project-Based Learning implement in other institution to improve student management project.

Abstract

HAPS (High Altitude Platform Station), the infrastructure that is made to change BTS/BS, it could be one of solution to reduce cost and capacity problem. HAPS is like airship or aircraft that is placed on stratosphere line, the distance of platform is 17-22 km from earth surface. Because of that position, it’s affected by wind gusting, so that HAPS’s position can change from normal state that is called Platform Displacement. This research explain about the impacted of platform displacement to mobile station (MS) during HO process which is measured delay HO value. User is mobile wimax user who is doing communication using VoIP. Platform will be simulated in some position, horizontal position and vertical position, than MS moves on some speed, first, in medium speed is 50 Km/hour and 80 Km/hour, second high speed is 120 km/hour dan 200 km/hour. When platfor moves to the higher position will increase the coverage of cells, so each cell will interfere their neighbor. The effect of changing it position is perceived by user in transition area, this condition can disturb the HO process.
